This is a unique foster-to-adopt program! It allows our “pick of the litter” puppies to be living in approved fur-ever homes getting all the love & attention they seek while still participating in Land of Gold’s program of striving to provide healthy AKC Golden Retriever puppies that will go on to be excellent pets for families and working dog candidates to help others in need.

Because we consider our dogs family, the Guardian Program is designed for the Guardian to raise and train the puppy and keep as a member of their family. The program provides an excellent family for the dog, an amazing opportunity for Guardians seeking a quality top-pick dog, and aids our breeding program goals for incredible companion pets and working dogs. It truly is a "win-win" for everyone involved! Plus the dog lives in his or her forever home!
